BOLASPORT.COM – Ipswich Town coach who is also a former assistant coach at Manchester United, Kieran McKenna admitted that he needed Elkan Baggott until the end of the season, which caused the player to be unable to attend the Indonesian U-23 National Team TC.

Elkan Baggott is included in the 29 Indonesian U-23 national team players who will be prepared for the 2021 SEA Games in May 2022.

However, the chances of the 194 cm player joining the Indonesian U-23 national team are quite small.

Previously reported by BolaSport.com from Twtd.co.uk, the local media from Ipswich predicted that Elkan would not be released by the club.

Elkan Baggott’s performance in the U-23 team and the Ipswich senior team recently has been very impressive.

In the Ipswich U-23 team, Elkan acted as captain and was able to lead them to record 8 consecutive wins to top the Professional Development League Two group South standings.

Meanwhile, in the senior team, Elkan Baggott became a coating for the defense.

“George Edmundson is currently out with an ankle injury, Baggott is next in line for the Ipswich Town first team and has been on the bench for 2 of the last 3 games,” wrote Twtd.
