BOLANAS.COM – Asnawi Mangkualam got long enough playing minutes in Ansan Greeners’ latest match, having one chance to make an individualistic move.

Asnawi Mangkualam has never been able to make a positive contribution to Ansan Greeners in K-League 2 2022.

Most recently, Asnawi Mangkualam was played for 23 minutes (not counting 7 minutes of injury time) in the Ansan Greeners vs FC Anyang match, Wednesday (6/4/2022).

The 23 minutes was considered a luxury for Asnawi Mangkualam, who had previously been included more often at the end of the match.

Coach Cho Min Kook seemed to play Asnawi in the attack line to be freed from the task of defending.

The captain of the Indonesian national team responded with a number of quick movements in the FC Anyang defense area.

One opportunity in the 73rd minute showed Asnawi’s weakness compared to South Korean second caste level players.

He received the ball in the penalty area under pressure from one player, but was immediately “beaten” by three players after being confused.

Asnawi chose the option of releasing the pass without looking at the intended area, so the ball was too weak and hit the opposing defender.

The problem of not scanning was seen again a moment later, when the ball was sent back to Asnawi outside the penalty box.

Again, Asnawi could not respond positively to the ball, and chose to dribble in an inverted direction, or to the middle area.

Unfortunately, Asnawi always looked down when carrying the ball, so he didn’t realize there were options for short passes, crosses, or opportunities to work with Robson Duarte.

Robson Duarte also seemed to let Asnawi pass him, which led to a desperate shot and ended up in the arms of the opposing goalkeeper.

In general, Ansan Greeners did appear gloomy and had to admit a 1-2 advantage over the visitors.

The failure of coach Cho Min Kook not only created a system to accommodate Asnawi, but also failed to give a single victory.

Ansan Greeners is now slumped in the distended position of the K-League 2 2022, by only collecting four points.

Meanwhile, Asnawi was announced to be included in the 29 Indonesian U-23 national team players to train in South Korea.

The training camp in South Korea was held to prepare for the 2021 SEA Games next month.

Ansan Greeners actually had the option of rejecting Asnawi’s summons considering that the agenda was held outside the FIFA agenda.

However, Shin Tae-yong’s visit last week is likely to see Asnawi leave amid poor individual and team performances.
