The appointment of the new municipal councilor of Cattolica, Alessandro Uguccioni, has been made official. The member of the council took over after Enrico Ugolini’s resignation. Uguccioni, 40, is the father of two girls and Monica’s partner. The proxies concerning him will be very important for the Catholic community: public works, civil protection, public green, urban decoration and furniture, parks, mobility and transport, development and recovery of peripheral areas, sustainability and the environment. “I have a degree in International Political Science – introduces the new councilor, member of the ‘Ideas in the Municipality’ list -. Up to 30 years I was president of a large minibasketball company and youth basketball coach. Since 2011 I have been dedicated to the tourism sector , managing or working in hotels and restaurants both in Italy and abroad. I am passionate about basketball and water sports, I like challenges and changes “. “I wish the new councilor Alessandro Uguccioni good work – the mayor Franca Foronchi reiterated – for this new demanding challenge, given the numerous and ambitious goals that this administration wants to achieve”.
The new councilor has clear ideas: “We must think for the Catholic of our children: the works must be futuristic, functional and eco-sustainable. Surely it is necessary to rethink the whole city, our commitment from the beginning, among other things, will be aimed at the renovation of sidewalks, sustainable mobility, maintenance of urban decor and public green spaces in general “. There will also be a lot of work to be done for the numerous construction sites already underway.
