CHICAGO (AP) — Jimmy Butler had 22 points, Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro added 19 apiece, and the Miami Heat beat the Chicago Bulls 127-109 on Saturday to clinch atop the Eastern Conference.
Bam Adebayo had 16 points for the Heat (50-28), who have been hot with the shot and hadn’t racked up 50 wins in a season since 2013-14.
Also, Miami increased its lead over Milwaukee to a game and a half and moved within a win of securing home-field advantage in the first round of the postseason. If the Heat go 3-1 the rest of the season, they will secure the top spot in the East.
Miami made this win look easy. He built a nine-point lead at halftime and left the match practically over from the first plays of the third quarter.
