Bruno Fitipaldo was once again a figure this Sunday in Spanish basketball. His team, Lenovo Tenerife, beat Real Madrid 72-59 by the Endesa League of Spain and the base of the Uruguayan team was a determining factor.
Fitipaldo, 30 years old, scored 14 points but 12 of them, including three triples, were made in the fourth quarter where Tenerife was overwhelming: 31-16.
In front of 5,000 people, at the Santiago Martín Sports Pavilion, Lenovo Tenerife was able to cut a streak of five years and 17 games without being able to beat Real Madrid.
Fitipaldo wears 26 games this season and averages 11.2 points, 4.1 assists, 35.7% shooting from three-pointers and 24 minutes on the court.
