Bronze for Holguín in National Men’s Judo

The province of Holguín ranked eight to 11, tied with Artemisa, Ciego de Ávila and Pinar del Río, by materializing a single medal, bronze in this case, in the National Men’s Judo Championship.

The event was led by the representation from Matanzas with three titles and three bronze medals, and they were escorted by Havana (2-3-2) and Santiago de Cuba (1-2-1).

Then Cienfuegos (1-0-1), Villa Clara (0-1-1), Camagüey (0-1-0) and Guantánamo (0-0-2) were located in positions four through seven in that order.

For their part, the most outstanding referee and coach included Santiago Rodríguez and Mirta Nieves, respectively, on the honor roll.
