Barcelona failed to maintain their hopes of winning the Europa League after being defeated by Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2 in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals at Camp Nou, Friday (15/4) early morning WIB, so they were eliminated by losing 4-3 on aggregate.
Filip Kostic was brilliant for Frankfurt in this match scoring two goals and making one assist for Rafael Santos Borre’s goal.

Frankfurt started the first half quickly and were awarded a penalty in the fourth minute after Eric Garcia brought down Jesper Lindstrom in the box. Acting as the executor, Kostic calmly defeated Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
After conceding, Xavi Hernandez’s troops quickly adapted and began to cause problems. Ousmane Dembele fed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whose header just crossed the line and Ronald Araujo’s volley headed straight for Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

However, Kostic scored his second in the 67th minute with a low shot past Ter Stegen to make it 3-0 on aggregate and Frankfurt even more have the upper hand.

Memphis Depay also scored a consolation goal to reduce the score to 3-2 from the penalty spot in the tenth minute injury time, after Evan N’Dicka violated Luuk de Jong in the forbidden box. As a result of his actions, the Frankfurt player received a second yellow card, aka a red card.
Frankfurt will meet West Ham United, who beat Lyon, with the first leg of the semi-finals taking place on April 28 and the second leg on May 5.
