Alzheimer Café Houten 11 April about young people with dementia | Houtens News

WOODEN People who are diagnosed with dementia at a relatively young age (under 65 years of age) encounter different problems than older people with this disease. Young people are often still fully involved in social life. They have a job, a family and sometimes there are still children living at home. The impact of dementia is therefore great.
Guest speaker Jeffrey Bakker, specialist in geriatric medicine, shares his experiences from working in the residential and treatment ward for young people with dementia in the Haltna House.

Everyone is welcome on Monday evening 11 April at the Alzheimer Café in Het Haltna Huis, Het Kant 193 in Houten. The program starts at 7.30 pm and ends around 9 pm. The walk-in with coffee and tea is from 19:00, registration is not necessary, the entrance is free.
