Alexandre Pato wants to leave MLS to return to AC Milan

Alexandre Pato lives its second season in Major League Soccer defending the colors Orlando City. In 2021 he had practically no activity due to a serious injury that took him away from the courts, but this 2022 he has returned with greater force and in seven games with the purple team he has a record of three goals and two assists.

Pato has a contract with Orlando City until December of this year and everything indicates that his wish is to leave Major League Soccer at the end of the season. The experienced striker’s main goal is to return to European football and he has sent a message to Paolo Maldini by ensuring that he is ready for a new cycle with AC Milan.

“Orlando is fine and I still have a contract, but Maldini knows: I would be ready. Now I have matured, I have a different attitude towards football and maybe it would be useful with the younger players.”he indicated in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

He misses Italy and Serie A

Alexandre Pato (32 years old) misses the fans in Italy and the whole environment of Serie A football, so he plans to return one day if fate grants him that possibility in his professional career.

“I miss Italy and the Italians, the warmth of the fans. I always tell my wife: ‘one day I’ll take you to Milan and you’ll understand what I’m talking about’. For me it was a fundamental city: I learned many things and I miss everything. I would like to return to Milan, after all, in Italy there are many players who are older in Serie A.”he highlighted.
