Aleix Espargaro and Aprilia sign their very first victory

Spaniard Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) won the very first race of his career and the first for his team in MotoGP on Sunday, at the age of 32, at the Argentine Grand Prix, taking the championship lead after the third round of the year. Jorge Martin (Ducati-Pramac) and Alex Rins (Suzuki) complete an all-Spanish podium as reigning French world champion Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) finished 8th in the first Argentine GP since 2019 – the previous two editions that have been canceled due to the pandemic.
