Action says goodbye to the tournament against Regatas

Acción will close its foray into the Federal League this Friday when it faces Regatas de Resistencia from 9:30 pm at the Arena Uncaus stadium.

The Saenzpeñense team was far from fulfilling the campaign they expected, after having qualified for this contest as Chaco champion. Those led by Roberto Martínez arrive at this match with three victories against Sarmiento (at home and away) and the rest against AMAD.

In the “celeste” will not be the forward Matías Gabutti, who has a third degree sprain and a small fissure in the tibia that has him immobilized for a month, joining Francisco Ferraro who has not been able to be in much of the season, first because of the call to the Argentine U18 preselection, and then because of an ankle injury.

In their last appearances, the Central Chaco fell on their visit to Hindú (92-80), and the people from the capital have just been released but before they beat El Tala as a visitor (80-63). His last setback was on matchday 14 against Sarmiento (80-89). In the duel between the two in the first round, the “rower” team won 84-72 in Resistencia, and regardless of the result this Friday, the die is already cast for both.

Regatas is assured of second place and direct classification to the next phase, taking into account that with a setback it can be overtaken by San Martín de Curuzú Cuatiá, but it has an advantage over the group from the interior of Corrientes. Action, meanwhile, will not move from its position in the table, even with a win.
