a special diet for pregnant footballers –

The subject was at the center of discussions held on Tuesday between the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation Samuel Eto’o and the director general of the National Social Insurance Fund (Cnps).

Samuel Eto’o indeed met Alain Noël Olivier Mekulu Mvondo this Tuesday in Yaoundé. According to some indiscretions, the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fécafoot) and the director of the National Social Insurance Fund (Cnps) discussed the possibility of setting up a special pension scheme for Cameroonian footballers.

The project had indeed been announced by Samuel Eto’o in his campaign program for the elections to the presidency of FECAFOOT. This is indeed part of its project No. 3 relating to the mobilization of football players. Given that Fécafoot plays a public service role, Samuel Eto’o had revealed his desire to give a boost to the actors, in particular the trades. This project by the census of the components of the professional bodies of FECAFOOT, the evaluation of the status of the professional bodies and the implementation of the recommendations intended to improve the working conditions. And even the signing of an agreement between Fécafoot and the National Social Insurance Fund (Cnps) for the social protection of players, coaches and referees.

In the same logic, Samuel Eto’o dreams of setting up not only a program for the social reintegration of players at the end of their career, but also a health insurance program and the organization of a Federation of supporters (national teams, clubs…) and operations to promote fair play.
