Badminton men’s singles national team Jeon Hyuk-jin has risen to the top of the international competition for the first time in 5 years.
Jeon Hyuk-jin defeated Japan’s Naraoka 2-0 in the final of the ‘Yonex Korea Masters’ held in Gwangju.
In 2014, he received attention as the next-generation singles ace, such as the team gold medal in the Asian Games. After 2017, he fell to the top 900 in the world rankings due to a knee injury and long rehabilitation, but he overcame a long ordeal.
Following the Korean League MVP last month, he won the Korea Masters again for the first time in five years, signaling a powerful revival.
