It is with great sadness that I announce today the end of my adventure at Sporting.
After these nine years spent by your side, I can really say today that I have become a real Carolo. It is all the more difficult for me to say goodbye to you, because I am really very attached to the Club, to you…
I am very disappointed with this last season, with my unachieved personal goals, or even with the way it ends for me at Sporting…
But how can you forget all those wonderful years spent by your side? ! When I arrived at the club, I was a boy looking for his way, full of motivation and the desire to do well, but ignorant of many things in life.
Today I am proud to say that thanks to you, thanks to all this experience within the club, I am a fulfilled and happy man. For that, and from the bottom of my heart, I really wanted to thank you!!
Thank you for all these good times, thank you for your support, thank you for your respect and above all thank you for this love of the jersey that you have and that you passed on to me.
I will forever remain a Carolo from now on!
I would also like to thank the club for this wonderful adventure! You placed your trust in me and I gave myself body and soul as best I could.
We grew up together, lived exceptional moments… I became attached to so many people in the club that it would be impossible for me to mention everyone without forgetting someone. Therefore, thank you for everything… really!
This is just a goodbye to you, not a farewell. I feel that my destiny will bring me back to Charleroi. While waiting for this moment, I wish you all a lot of happiness and luck for the future!
I sincerely hope that the efforts made during all these years will bear fruit, and will result in a title. You deserve it so much!!!
