Divorced since 2011, Shaquille O’Neal however spent around ten years of his life with his former wife, Shaunie. The latter has just delivered a painful revelation about their relationship, to which the legendary big man reacted.
Known as a real womanizer, he nevertheless remained married from 2002 to 2011. It therefore seems logical that Shaquille O’Neal still considers Shaunie today as the woman of his life, he who has never maintained such a long relationship since their breakup. His ex-wife has since found love again and can now compare her romance with the glorious pivot.

Mother of five children conceived with O’Neal, Shaunie Henderson recently started a new life with a pastor and is in the news more than ever these days. In question, the recent publication of his memoir Undefeated: Changing the Rules and Winning On My Own Termsin which she opens up about her love story with the four-time NBA champion with words that are extremely heavy with meaning:
Shaunie O’Neal: Looking back, I don’t know if I was really in love with the man. I was quite in love with the idea of being married to the man I started a family with. I was in love with the idea of building a life together.

Obviously not proud of his attitude towards his first and only wife, Shaq therefore considers it logical that she makes such comments about him.
Better yet, he sends him his best wishes and apparently hopes that his book will be successful in terms of sales. There is no doubt that this spotlight will contribute to this. It now remains to be seen whether the Big Cactus has learned the lessons of this failure on an emotional level and whether he applies them in his new relationships. Only he and his recent conquests know the answer to this question.
Married to Shaunie for almost 10 years, Shaquille O’Neal seems to accept the harsh reality that his ex-wife never truly loved him. A certain proof of maturity from a Diesel who undoubtedly lacked it at the time.
