Shin Tae-yong believes Arhan Primary will quickly adapt to Tokyo Verdy : Okezone Bola

TRAINER The Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong opened his voice regarding Arhan’s Primary move to Tokyo Verdy. The man with a South Korean passport said that with a disciplined personality he was sure that one of his men in the Garuda squad could quickly adapt to a second division club in the Japanese League in the future.

As is known, Pratama Arhan is the only Indonesian player who continues his football career in Sakura Country. His slick performance in the 2020 AFF Cup with the Indonesian national team, made Tokyo Verdy hijack him from PSIS Semarang.

Before moving to Japan, Shin Tae-yong admitted that First Arhan had long discussions with him. The 51-year-old coach believes Arhan will quickly adjust to Tokyo Verdy’s style of play.

“Indeed, before going to Tokyo, he (Arhan) had a lot of discussions with me, but I think Arhan is disciplined, so he can certainly adapt well there,” said Shin Tae-yong.

Furthermore, Shin Tae-yong hopes that Arhan can improve his game in Japan. The former South Korean national team coach believes that the Japanese style of football is very suitable for Arhan to develop his level of play.

“Indeed, the football is very detailed there, so in my opinion, he can learn well, and set a good example for Indonesian players, so I believe he can continue to focus there,” he said.
