Persipura Jayapura Appeal Result, Appeals Committee Reduces One Sanction from Komdis

BANGKAPOS.COM – Persipura Jayapura received one commutation of sentence after an appeal against the sanctions imposed by the PSSI Disciplinary Committee (Komdis).

The PSSI Appeal Committee has officially released the results of the trial regarding the Persipura Jayapura case which was not present in the match against Madura United in Liga 1 2021 on February 21, 2022.

Previously, the Disciplinary Committee (Komdis) sanctioned Persipura Jayapura with a three-point deduction.

This is because Persipura was deemed to have lost 0-3 to Madura United, so they were sentenced to a point deduction and a fine of Rp. 250 million.

After being given the sentence, Persipura Jayapura also filed an appeal.

Finally, the results of the appeal have been published.

The PSSI Appeal Committee only waived sanctions for the team manager, Arvydas Ridwan Madubun.

In the previous Komdis decision, Madubun was given a ban on activities for 12 months or one year in the realm of football.

Not only that, he was also fined Rp. 50 million.
