The 81-year-old Brazilian “was cleared from hospital on Saturday”wrote his doctors in a press release, after a two-week hospitalization. “He is clinically stable, recovered from his urinary tract infection and continued treatment for a colon tumor detected in September 2021”continue his doctors.
The health of the three-time World Cup winner with Brazil (1958, 1962, 1970) has been fragile for years. Before this last hospitalization since February 13, “King” Pelé had already made a two-week stay in December at the Albert Einstein hospital.
