Huércal de Almería will host this weekend the Final Four of the senior men’s basketball league with the four best teams classified in the regular season, among which is the club from Huercal, Estudiantes, which will host this competition organized by the Delegation of Almería of the Andalusian Federation of Basketball and for whose final phase the City Council of Huércal de Almería collaborates.

In this final four will be present, in addition to the Estudiantes de Huércal de Almería, which has been the champion of the first phase, the teams from Adra and El Ejido, who will play the first semifinal on Saturday at 5:30 p.m., and Olula del Río, who will be the rival of the Huercalense team, on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The winners of the two semifinals will play the final on Sunday at 12:00. All matches will be played at the Pabellón Municipal Paco Navarro in Huércal de Almería.

The Councilor for Sports of the Huércal de Almería City Council, Jesús Pomedio, has acknowledged “being lucky to be able to have this event in our municipality”, where “we continue to bet on basketball and clubs”, such as Estudiantes, “which always has the open doors of our City Council and those we support so that they continue to progress with their basketball school”.

For his part, the delegate in Almería of the Andalusian Basketball Federation, José Francisco Cara, pointed out that “after many years without being able to celebrate this provincial league we have been able to recover it, with a high level, it is a very interesting competition for everyone and there are many the teams interested in joining this championship from next season”.

The president of CD Estudiantes, Francisco Pérez, added that the club is “very happy to be able to host this final phase and very much looking forward to being able to play it and try to win it at home”.
