The event that took place in the city of Tuluá, Valle del Cauca, brought together more than 80 national and international competitors to show their skills in modalities such as K1 and MMA.

Three belts, two international gold medals and six silver medals were the victories obtained by the Kamikaze academy in the third edition of the TFC Amateur international combat sports competition.

Harold Gonzáles, Ailyn Morales and Juanes Montañez won championship belts. Libardo Ramirez and Robin Valencia won international gold medalsand Victoria López, Sebastián Dorado, Joel Ortiz, Santiago Ortiz, Miguel Ángel Orozco and Kevin Andrade reached silver.

In this regard, Max Ortega, coach of the Kamikaze Colombia academy, which is based on Nissa Boulevard in Armenia, stated: “These triumphs that we obtained as a team show us that we are doing things well, that we are on the right track. I must highlight the work that each of the guys on my team did, the discipline and effort with which they trained. Thanks to the teachers who accompany me in this task: Rolando Orjuela, from Jiu Jitsu; Melquis Betancur, from boxing, and Alejandro Márquez, from Freestyle Wrestling, who have been accompanying me in this process“.

The Kamikaze team continues to prepare for the development of the next sporting events, with the aim of leaving the name of the department high.
