After two marathon days with more than 30 games, the municipality of Huatusco was the dominator in the 5×5 basketball of the Veracruz 2022 State Games, which were held at the Veracruz Arena and were held without public access, complying with the health protocols.
During the two days, Huatusco dominated the 2006-2007 Women’s and 2004-2005 Women’s categories, showing their players that they want to do well in the Macro Regional to be held in Villahermosa, Tabasco in April.
The technical coordinator of the event, Víctor Hugo Cruz Bustamante, commented “the competition was carried out in a good way, there were no details, everyone left happy, the award was excellent and we hope that Veracruz will make a selective selection necessary to reach a national in optimal conditions ”.

He added that for the Regional Macro that will take place in Villahermosa, Tabasco, they trust that the quintets from Veracruz will do a good job to advance to the CONADE 2022 National Games.
“After two years without this participation, we all want to return to that level, they are training hard, the competition was difficult but we know they will do a good job. There were around 30 games, all intense but what counts is the quality we have as players and coaches and they leave happy”, he commented.
