Giannis Antetokounmpo too strong for the Hawks

No miracle for Atlanta in Milwaukee! The Hawks logically lost 124-115 in the stronghold of the defending champion.

Led by a remarkable Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks picked up a sixth success in a row. He was already largely acquired at the break with a significant advantage of 14 points (68-54). With his 43 points and 12 rebounds, Gianis Antetokounmpo flew over the meeting.

Held back by a limited playing time of 20 minutes due to fouls whistled against him, Clint Capela scored 11 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for a differential of +8. Author of a 5 of 5 shooting, however, he scored only one of the five free throws he fired. His waste in this exercise – 54.5% success in his last ten matches – has yet to be erased.

Despite this new defeat, Atlanta retains tenth place in the Eastern Conference, the last qualifier for the play-ins. The Hawks have respectively two and three more victories over Washington and New York, their two rivals in this play-in race.
