When is the World Baseball Classic?
The tournament, announced to take place during 2021, had to be suspended due to the health emergency that the world is going through. In the middle of that year, an ESPN report assured that the event would be rescheduled for 2023having as one of the main headquarters the city of Miami, Florida.
Big leagues and the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) have not made an announcement in this regard because the event depends in part on the Collective Bargaining Agreement that is signed between MLB and the Players Union, an agreement that allows major league players to participate in the tournament and that is still being negotiated.
The tournament is expected to take place in Marchthe month in which it has traditionally been played in previous editions.
