“During the international tournament, we receive young people from West Flanders, but also from abroad. During previous editions we saw Dutch and French people, but it remains to be seen how the turnout will be after a year’s break. The tournament takes place every year in a different municipality and this year in Gits. Corona ensured that fewer and fewer people find their way to the badminton club, despite our good guidance and professional support. Of course we think that’s a shame. In addition, tournaments are also difficult to get off the ground. It seems as if people are still a bit hesitant.” “So we hope to breathe new life into the badminton sport with this tournament.
