NHL: Don’t hesitate to slow down

After two furious victories against the Montreal Canadiens (7:1) and the St. Louis Blues (7:4), the New Jersey Devils left the ice again as losers on Sunday. At home, the Devils lost 4-2 to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Captain Nico Hischier was responsible for the home team’s temporary 2:2 in the 43rd minute. His shot was deflected to the post by a “Pens” defender, whereupon the puck rolled over the line off the goalie’s pad. For Hischier it was the 13th goal of the current NHL season – in the last 4 games he has always succeeded, two days ago in St. Louis even twice.
