A the arrival of the bus Real Madrid to the stadium of San Mames received an unacceptable reception from the Athletic fans.
The Real Madrid bus receives a rain of objects
As the bus approached the outskirts of San Mames, little by little the insults of the local fans were heard, louder and louder, which were accompanied by the launch of multitude of objects, mainly plastic cups, which hit the windows of the Madridista bus.
Once the bus was parked, inside the stadium, the white club’s operators were seen trying to repairry minimize the damage to the team vehicle, as the impact of one of the objects caused one of the side windows to break.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that a team bus has received such a hostile reception upon arrival at an away stadium. A few weeks ago, in the match between Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid, the athletic bus was the one that suffered objects being thrown at its bus.
Athletic apologizes
Athletic did not take long to react and, with the match still in play, issued a statement condemning the events.
“Athletic regrets and condemns the incidents that occurred upon the arrival of the Real Madrid bus, to which it has already personally apologized”, read the statement from the Biscayan club.
