They create sneakers with handmade motifs in Contla – El Sol de Tlaxcala

Innovate or die. Artisans from Contla de Juan Cuamatzi took advantage of the Covid-19 pandemic and since 2021 They created sneakers based on Sarape and figures with the Talavera screen printing technique and the Aztec Calendar.

Through the Facebook page called “DINUS always in fashion”, this Tlaxcalan microenterprise seeks to detonate crafts from the region, mainly the Sarape, traditional icon of Contla by Juan Cuamatzi.
