Rome – A family from the town of Portici near Naples won a competition announced by the airline Wizz Air, which last year was looking for “the largest Italian family” in an advertisement that would be able to fill the entire plane for 170 passengers. Anna Donalek managed to bring so many relatives and friends together, thus arranging a three-day air holiday on the island of Corfu for everyone. The APA agency wrote about it.

Wizz Air launched an ad called “Flying Family” in December, giving people ten days to sign up if they could convince 170 celebrities on a weekend flight.

“We are very satisfied with the result, the advertisement was very popular from the very beginning. Many thanks go to the Italian families who responded to our challenge,” said Wizz Air spokesman András Radó. According to him, over 3,500 people took part in the competition, but only two families managed to fill all 170 seats.

“I didn’t believe I could win until the very end. I’m a fan of competitions and I’ve won a few in the past. I’ve called in a few people, sent out invitations and begged everyone to convince their relatives and sign up. My 21-year-old son did the same. and when the last person told me he wouldn’t get on the plane because it was full, I said to myself, “That’s how I did it,” Donalek described. Therefore, her group is now waiting for a three-day stay in a hotel on the Greek island of Corfu, where they will fly a fully occupied plane.
