Roosteren –

Couldn’t have gotten a better score. Roosterse BC won 8-0 in Groningen against last-placed Amor. A first step in a double weekend.

Four times it took a three-setter to put the Groningen red lantern bearer over the knee, but it always worked. Roosterse started with two 2-1 wins in the men’s and women’s doubles. Then Rick Steuten, Xenia Koelmel and Nico Hermans continued. They won their singles matches in two sets. Flora Wang needed three sets for her victory.

In the mixed doubles Dorien Lups and Noah Jongen needed three sets. Nico Hermans and Flora Wang were victorious in two. With the 8-0 win, Roosterse takes a good step towards enforcement. A place in the top three in the enforcement group is necessary to achieve a longer stay in the Eredivisie. Sunday’s game in Wijchen against Smashing is very important, because that is the direct competitor. That game starts on Sunday at 4 p.m.
