The 2022 Federal Men’s Basketball Tournament could have the presence of three teams from the province of Chubut, such as Guillermo Brown from Puerto Madryn, Germinal from Rawson and the YPF Sports Federation from the city of Comodoro Rivadavia.
The news was given by the Chubut Basketball Federation, on their social networks, informed that its president, Carlos Sanz, together with that of the Santa Cruz federation, Mauricio Gomes Bull, were discussing this possibility with the Argentine Basketball Confederation.
The idea would go through forming a South Patagonia Sub-Division of the TFB Men 2022, to which those teams that played the Pre-Federal Tournaments would be invited, which were won by Guillermo Brown, in Chubut, and the San Miguel Basketball Club, in Santa Cruz.
In this way, a door could be opened for Germinal, from Rawson, and YPF Sports Federation, from Comodoro Rivadavia; who together with the already classified Guillermo Brown and San Miguel, must confirm and formalize the registration with CAB on January 5, 2022.
