In social networks, the hashtag has become a trend #TenisGate, a discussion that has the lawyers who ask themselves the question of whether they should wear tennis or not in a hearing.
As is known, lawyers have become famous for the size they show off every time they have to attend a hearing; Likewise, they can always be seen with a unique outfit such as pants, jacket, tie and flipped shoes, while for women a lack, their jacket and heels.

However, many began to think what it would be like if a lawyer entered a hearing with his normal clothes but with a detail in the footwear, wearing tennis shoes instead of shoes.
This created a controversy in social networks, some defended the position that you should always wear shoes every time you work; however, there are those who think it would be a good idea to wear sneakers.
«In honor of #TenisGate, let’s return this Monday, January 24, the “Day of Lawyers with Tennis”. All the pull with tennis »; «They will criticize you for everything, you wear sneakers in court»; «In criminal matters you cannot attend a hearing in tennis, and less if the matter is federal. And I think that’s fine, because there are certain rituals that should not disappear»; “Society does require a certain formality from lawyers,” were some responses from users.
Just as there were stories and reactions from the same lawyers defending their own position, there were those who took advantage of the trend to share memes and not miss the moment of showing off their sneakers to wear in court.

With the #TenisGate the legal community is super conservative in this aspect, at the university many classmates and teachers always paid attention to clothing, which made for a rather classy and heavy atmosphere, for my part, I wear sneakers all the time, I don’t see a problem

Thanks to the pandemic, I changed my flats for tennis???? every day to go do paperwork in court, if I have a hearing, or I have an appointment with a client if I wear my heels???? . I love my comfort! Classist and ignorant judging others by their clothing. #TenisGate

Pffff I don’t know whether to sign it or not, I’m wearing sneakers and perhaps, for that reason, the legal analysis may eventually be wrong (!). #TenisGate pic.twitter.com/9WvwJEsiGT
