Sinaloa basketball clubs will work hand in hand – The Mazatlán Post

Culiacán, Sin.- In order to work hand in hand for the good of the basketball in Sinaloa, the leaders of the clubs that make up andl Pacific Coast Basketball Circuit, held a useful meeting with authorities of the Sinaloa Institute of Sport and Physical Culture.

In this meeting, topics such as the development of basketball and programs that seek physical activation in children, youth and adults through the practice of sports through the professional teams of Culiacán, Mazatlán and Los Mochis were discussed.

The Club Caballeros de Culiacán had the participation of Saúl Saldaña as President and José Luis Frías Rocha as General Manager of the Club, as well as Julio César Cascajares Ramírez, Director of ISDE and Jaime Leyva and Paul Luque as representatives of Pioneros de Los Mochis and Venados Basketball Mazatlán, respectively, managing to take the first step towards new projects that come to be a contribution to Sinaloa society.

In this sense, José Luis Frías mentions some details that were seen in said meeting, where the conditions of current sport due to the pandemic and the way to carry out the programmed activities were taken into account.

“We had a meeting with the ISDE Director of the three CIBACOPA teams, where the topics were about how to develop basketball in Sinaloa, make it known and socialize it more, and we as clubs can help together with ISDE to have a greater projection, us as a club in the sport and them as an institution, to see how we can support this discipline”, the Men’s General Manager mentioned.

Similarly, another aspect to highlight is the implementation of inclusive programs in the early stages, seeking that burst sport be an ally in the struggle to have a better society.

“He (Julio Cascajares) is very interested in the programs that we bring, to see what we can contribute to society, to work with the marginalized neighborhoods of each city that we represent, to implement programs and camps, very good things were discussed and it was the first talk of several , we are going to make a program to apply it with the population”, Frias Rocha added.

Likewise, Caballeros de Culiacán continues with the work towards the start of the 2022 Season of CIBACOPA Mexico, which is scheduled to start on March 17 and where La Nobleza is looking for its third star.
