GenPI.co – After rejecting Shin Tae Yong’s idea of naturalization, Haruna Soemitro was immediately challenged by the boss of Persib Bandung.
Commissioner of PT Persib Bandung Dignity (PBB), Umuh Muchtar also criticized the statement of Exco PSSI, Haruna Soemitro who criticized Shin Tae Yong.
Previously, Haruna made several controversial statements when she was a guest star on a podcast uploaded by the JPNN Youtube channel on Saturday (15/1).

In addition to rejecting the idea of naturalization of players, Haruna also said that Shin Tae Yong was no better than other coaches because he could only bring the Indonesian national team to become runners-up in the 2020 AFF Cup.
Furthermore, Haruna emphasized that in football there is no need for a process and only concerned with results.

As a result, his statement received a lot of criticism from Indonesian football fans, including boss Umuh Muchtar.
Umuh Muchtar criticized Haruna’s behavior, which he considered inappropriate to serve as PSSI’s Exco.

In a video uploaded to Sagala_Persib’s Instagram on Thursday (20/1), Umuh also argued that it was not Haruna’s capacity to speak like that to the public.
