PSIS CEO’s answer to rumors of overseas clubs targeting Pratama Arhan and Alfaandra Pages all

KOMPAS.com – The CEO of PSIS Semarang, Yoyok Sukawi, finally opened his voice regarding rumors of interest from foreign clubs towards Pratama Arhan and Alfeandra Dewangga.

The names of Pratama Arhan and Alfendra Dewangga in recent weeks have soared after both of them performed well in the 2020 AFF Cup with the Indonesian national team.

Pratama Arhan, who is still 20 years old, was named the best young player of the AFF Cup 2020 thanks to his consistency throughout the tournament.

On the other hand, Alfeandra Dewangga is one of the key pillars of the success of the Indonesian national team stepping into the 2020 AFF Cup final.

The 20-year-old centre-back has always played as a starter for the Indonesian national team in eight matches since the 2020 AFF Cup group phase.

Thanks to their consistency during the 2020 AFF Cup, Pratama Arhan and Alfeandra Dewangga are now rumored to be the target of many foreign teams, especially in the Asian region.

One of the South Korean media, Footballist, claiming that several South Korean clubs have started exploring the possibility of bringing in Arhan Primary.

Two South Korean teams that are now often referred to as monitoring Arhan Primary are Seongnam FC and Daejeon Hana Citizen.

In response to this, Yoyok Sukawi admitted that he had also heard rumors that Pratama Arhan and Alfeandra were wanted by foreign clubs.

However, Yoyok Sukawi ensured that the management of PSIS Semarang had not yet received an official offer from overseas teams.

Apart from that, Yoyok Sukawi ensured that PSIS management would not detain Pratama Arhan and Alfeandra if a foreign team submitted an offer.

“Actually, if there is no official offer yet, it’s only a rumor,” said Yoyok Sukawi, quoted from the BolaSport website.

“Our attitude is still the same, namely releasing the two players if they are interested by European, Japanese and South Korean clubs,” Yoyok added.

“However, if we get an offer from an Indonesian club, we will not let go,” added Yoyok Sukawi.

Furthermore, Yoyok Sukawi admitted that he had been contacted by many agents to help offer the two players to foreign clubs.

However, he did not want to serve before a foreign club actually officially made a direct offer to PSIS Semarang.

According to Yoyok Sukawi, the Pratama Arhan and Alfeandra Dewangga contracts will end with PSIS Semarang in December 2023.

However, if a foreign club later makes an offer, Yoyok Sukawi ensures that PSIS Semarang will release Pratama Arhan and Alfeandra for free.

“Yes, we let go for free, even later we will also help with the cost of flying there,” said Yoyok Sukawi.

In the Indonesian national team squad for the 2020 AFF Cup, there are five players who are currently working abroad.

The five players are Syahrian Abimanyu (Johor Darul Ta’zim, Malaysia), Witan Sulaeman (Lechia Gdansk, Poland), Egy Maulana Vikri (FK Senica, Slovakia), Asnawi Mangkualam Bahar (Ansan Greeners, South Korea), and Elkan Baggott (Ipswich). Towns, England).
