The governor of the state of Guárico, José Vásquez, announced the start and deployment of the “Beautiful Olympic City Plan”, through which beautification and conditioning work is carried out on the sports facilities that are concentrated in this space located in San Juan de los Morros, on the occasion of the next execution of the XX National Sports Games.
The highest regional authority stated that the actions are focused firstly on optimizing sports facilities with painting actions, installation of lights, road signs, conditioning of infrastructures to ensure that visiting delegations feel comfortable during the competitions to be held in this llanero state in the disciplines of Coleo, Badminton and Handball.
In addition to this, days of weeding and collection of solid waste from the spaces are carried out, in addition to improving the facilities of the Sports Villages.

As a second element of this Plan, Vásquez stated that additionally the beautification and decoration actions of the city of San Juan de los Morros to increase the tourist attraction and delight sports visitors.
In general, these actions are the preparations to receive more than 500 athletes from the states of Barinas, Cojedes, Táchira, Yaracuy, Zulia, the Capital District, among others, indicating that from the plains land about 265 people make up the Guárico delegation. that will participate in 19 sports and 41 modalities within the games.
For this, the articulation of the Government was generated between the Executive Secretariat of Infrastructure and Public Services of the government, the Patria Socialista Foundation, the Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor, the Regional Sports Institute (Irdebg), among other institutions.
As a complement to these actions, the governor of Guárico, José Vásquez, recently swore in the Regional Organizing Committee for the games, which is already starting preparations for the security protocols for their development, food planning for the athletes, coaches, technical team, during each day of competition, accommodation, in order to position the entity as the best organization process.
