Gerard Piqué is not silent. Days after his quarrel on Twitter with former presidential candidate Toni Freixa, Piqué has once again used the social network to respond to the information on salaries revealed by the Onze d’Esport 3 program.
The control panel has shown a screenshot of 50% of your payroll to deny that he is the one who earns the most from the workforce.
Characters like this charging for public television to defend their friends. Here is 50% of my payroll charged on December 30th. Respect yourself a little. https://t.co/luHsMMqJD8 pic.twitter.com/l4IAtqvexU

That same afternoon the club has issued a statement denying the information and making it clear that the data on salaries have not been “in any case” provided by Barça and pointing out that the figures “are erroneous”.
According to the data given to Onze, Alba, Busquets and Piqué were the three highest paid players in the squad, being the central one the one that would have the highest payroll. According to Canut, despite Piqué’s reduction in the summer, he would have received the full salary thanks to a loyalty bonus.
