It has already been reported that Ostapenko, who is ranked 27th in the WTA ranked 26th in the tournament, defeated US tennis player Alison Rice (WTA 46th) in a second-round match on Wednesday 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.
In the first round, Ostapenko defeated Anna Karolina Šmīdlov with 6-7 (7: 9), 6-4, 6-1, but the fourth issue of the WTA rank Krejčīkova defeated the German Andea Petkovič (WTA 73) with 6-2, 6-0.
The third round match is scheduled for Thursday.
