The Oltretorrente baseball and softball Group is pleased to announce the signing of the Venezuelan right pitcher Angel Alberto Duno Rodriguez who will reinforce the launch mound of the “Ciemme” Oltretorrente team participating in the 2022 Serie A baseball championship. Angel Duno, born in Cantaura (Venezuela ) on 10 January 1994 starting from 2011 he signed with the Oakland Athletics with whom he played for eight seasons in the Minor League, reaching the Double A. In total in the Minor League for Duno 656 innings with 521 strike-outs scored and average points overall earnings of 3.58. The new “Ciemme” pitcher also participated in the Fall League where Major League organizations send all their best prospects. Since 2019 Duno has played in the Venezuelan Pro league with Caribes de Anzoategui, the team in which he won the championship, 16.2 shots with 7 strike-outs.
In 2021 Angel Duno played in Germany in the Bundesliga championship, in the Untouchables Paderborner team, collecting an average of 2.16 pgl, 3 wins and 1 defeat in 25 rounds. Finally, in the play-offs, 1 success, 7 innings, 8 strike-outs, mpgl 3.86.
