This is what the NFL Network said on Tuesday.

The 40-year-old’s firing came as a surprise to many, having had two out of three winning seasons at the helm of the Dolphins. The coach, however, was unable to lead his troops to the playoffs. He maintained a 24-25 record with the Florida club.

On Monday, at the Bears, we decided to clean up by firing head coach Matt Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace.

The pilot had been stationed in Chicago for four seasons. In 2021, the “Bears” maintained a 6-11 record and ended their season at the third place in the North section of the National Association.

Returning to Flores, he was with the New England Patriots organization from 2004 to 2018. Under Bill Belichick, he served in several roles on its coaching and scouting staff.
