Juan Manuel Fernández Quiles, who will turn 30 on February 23 and who was one of the captains of Badminton Rinconada, leaves the club to enroll, until the end of this year, in Mercapinturas Almería, as announced by Social Networks Of the entity.
Fernández Quiles, who has been living in the city of Almería for several years, who had lost prominence in recent campaigns and whose work problems made it difficult for him to dedicate all the time required by top competition to badminton, has decided to sign for a lower squad to enjoy the track of the rest of his sports career.
Juan Manuel Fernández grew up in the then Soderinsa Rinconada, where he became one of the best players in Spain, sharing a dressing room with players like Ruben Gordon, Stenny Kusuma or Bin Xin, among many others, consolidating himself as the first sword of the corner players in the section masculine during several campaigns. Married to Laura Molina, the other captain of the corner team, he now separates the sports path from his partner, who will continue to lead the Fernando Martín entity.
