The Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center announced on the 9th that it will be operating a ‘winter vacation program with special features’ for teenagers from January 17th to 21st to celebrate the winter vacation.

The classes to be opened in 2022 will be a physical education course called ▲Push Push! Badminton and ▲jumping! Besides music skipping rope, ▲ curious about the world of 3D ▲ resin craft full of imagination ▲ mysterious world of magic ▲ Chef Nado, etc.

The application period is until January 12, and the application method is on a first-come, first-served basis on the website. Students can apply for a course after registering as a member in their own name. All courses are free of charge, and only the cost of textbooks and materials is borne by the student.

Reflecting the ‘distancing in daily life’ guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the safety of students is top priority, such as temperature check and mandatory wearing of a mask when visiting the hall, frequent ventilation and disinfection, adjustment of the spacing between desks in the classroom, and dispersion of class start times. If face-to-face classes are difficult due to the spread of COVID-19, we plan to switch to non-face-to-face classes.

Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center Operation Division Director Jeong-wook Lee said, “We will do our best to prevent quarantine so that students can participate in the program in a safe environment. We look forward to your interest and participation.”
