Government wants to relax: spectators at football again next week? | Regional

Munich – The number of infections in Bavaria is increasing. The seven-day incidence in Bavaria is 551. Four cities and counties have already exceeded 800. Among them is Munich.

Nevertheless, the state government is promising a relaxation of the corona measures. She also decided: There is no longer a lockdown at regional level.

Florian Herrmann (50, CSU), head of the state chancellery, said after the state government meeting: “The incidences are increasing, but at the same time we have a decreasing occupancy of intensive care beds.” If this trend is confirmed, relief could be decided next week.

► Stadiums could be reopened to spectators. Herrmann: “There will be appropriate regulations for professional sports and amateur sports.”

► Theaters and cinemas could be allowed to occupy half of their seats. Only a quarter is currently allowed.

► Youth work should be exempted from 2G. 3G would then apply.

► There is no lockdown for counties and cities that reach an incidence of more than 1000. Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (57, CSU) lifted the 1000 limit last week. It will remain so for the time being.

Herrmann: “We’ll wait another week for developments, but we want to give the severely restricted areas a perspective.”

Minister of Health Holetschek: “I clearly support that if the parameters are right.”
