The international contemporary dance event has ended “Gate8” carried out a Chiavari from 2 to 6 January at the Benedetto Acquarone Center. The event, now in its third edition, was organized by Mgr Events (Michael Fuscaldo, Grazia Tringale, Rina Cilotti, Silvia Addiego Mobilio).
Present participating dancers from Italy, Switzerland, France, USA, England, Luxembourg, Israel had the opportunity to study with prestigious contemporary dance company directors: Judith Sanchez Ruiz (Cuba) e Roberto Olivan (Spain). At the same time, a section for dancers between 12 and 16 years of age was dedicated with the choreographer “host Nac Ballet” Michael Fuscaldo. The event was strongly desired by all of us out of respect for the participants and out of respect for art. We thank all the sponsors (Studio Dentistico Bocchi, Gogo Burger and Costruzioni Fiumanó) who collaborated for the awarding of cash prizes of a total of € 3500 donated to the best talents, and we thank all the professionals who supported us in such a difficult moment where the participants would have been much more numerous (Service, photographers, videomakers, choreographers, organizational staff, etc.). Many similar situations in Italy and in the world have been canceled, the difficulties have not been lacking, in this very particular period, but everything has been successfully concluded. we think that art and dance make us more free and more alive to dream, as well as to create concrete job opportunities and training experience.
