Now it’s official: Kingsley Coman (25) stays with FC Bayern!
As the club confirmed on Wednesday, the winger is extending its contract, which will expire in 2023, by four more years until 2027. This is a new record, Coman currently has the longest contract with the German record champions.

I’ve been with the club since 2015 – it feels like a big family. Everything is perfect here. My best years as a footballer are still ahead of me, and I’m glad I’ll be spending them at FC Bayern. Negotiations with the 2020 Champions League final scorer had been difficult for months. He demanded a significant increase in his salary, allegedly from around 12 million euros gross to 12 million euros net – i.e. over 20 million euros gross – per year. As reported by L’Équipe, both sides ultimately agreed on 17 million euros.
The French international came to Munich from Juventus Turin in 2015. After a two-year loan, he was firmly committed. Since then he has scored 46 goals and 52 assists in 217 competitive games for Bayern.
