CF Montreal player Djordje Mihailovic was selected by the United States national team on Thursday to take part in training camp Jan. 7-21 in Phoenix, Arizona.
This camp will serve as a preliminary preparation and selection camp for the final squad who will play CONCACAF’s next three qualifying matches for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022. The American team must travel to Hamilton to face Canada on Jan. 30.
Mihailovic, 23, will return to the American team for the first time since January 2021. Remember that the midfielder obtained the title of MVP from CF Montreal in 2021, winning the Giuseppe-Saputo trophy awarded to the most useful to his team.
