Concern in Charleroi: Descotte leaves training limping

Grimaces and pains. This Wednesday morning, Anthony Descotte left training with a large pocket of ice on his right ankle, helped by the medical staff. He no longer knew how to put his foot on the ground.

After a tackle from Jackson Tchatchoua during a 7 against 7 opposition, the Carolo striker was unable to get up. He was taken care of by the physiotherapist and we obviously do not yet know the nature of his injury. Nor his possible unavailability.

If he is not back by Saturday to face Ghent, it will be a famous tile for Edward Still. Since Vakoun Bayo (on loan from Ghent who still pays part of his psalary) cannot be aligned, it is indeed Descotte who is (was?) tipped to start. Charleroi is crossing his fingers that his ankle is quickly restored.

Petkevicius was back on the pitch, unlike Gholizadeh, who still suffers from some stiffness.
