Chae Jong-hyeop, who is faithfully building filmography by going back and forth between CRT and OTT platforms, won the ‘Rookie Male Actor’ category at the ‘2022 Korea First Brand Awards’ awards ceremony. It has a special meaning as a result of the overwhelming support and participation of consumers.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the ‘Korea First Brand Awards’ is the largest brand award in Korea that selects and awards promising brands that will lead the year in each field through a nationwide consumer survey every year.
In particular, as a result of the voting conducted from November 1 to 12, 2021, it was revealed that Chae Jong-hyeop is loved by 1020th generation female consumers.
Chae Jong-hyeop, who has known his face through web dramas, made his official debut with SBS’ ‘Stove League’ in 2019, and has made a mark on viewers with his stable acting skills and a warm mask. Afterwards, he showed off his presence by appearing in JTBC’s ‘Sisyphus: the myth’ and ‘I know,’ and grew up as a lead actor through Teabing’s original ‘Come to the Witch’s Restaurant’.
In addition, Chae Jong-hyeop confirmed his appearance as the male lead in KBS2’s new drama ‘The Speed To You 493km’, which is scheduled to be broadcast in the first half of this year, and is set to solidify the trend. In the drama, he plans to break down into the role of badminton player Park Tae-joon, who thinks of sports as just a job, as other people do at work.
