Due to the Christmas rest, the number of spectators at the home game of the violets on Saturday is limited. The city is planning a vaccination campaign in front of the arena.

Like the home game of the BG Göttingen against Braunschweig, the next duel of the violets in the Sparkassen-Arena will be affected by the so-called Christmas rest decided by the state of Lower Saxony. The audience capacity is again limited to 500 for the game against the Frankfurt Skyliners on Saturday at 6 p.m. In addition, the other regulations remain as before. The 2G plus rule still applies. Only vaccinated and convalescent people who also need a negative corona test are admitted. People who have already received a booster vaccination do not need a test certificate. There is an FFP2 mask requirement in the entire Sparkassen-Arena.

Since the reduced audience capacity exceeds the number of season tickets, there will be no free advance booking for the duel against Frankfurt. Only season ticket holders have the opportunity to secure one of the few places in the Sparkassen-Arena. Season ticket holders who cannot secure a place do not, of course, have to pay for this lot. Furthermore, clearances between the spectators must be maintained in the Sparkassen-Arena, so that season ticket holders have to book new seats again. The rebooking is possible from Thursday at 1 p.m.

Vaccination campaign at the BBL game

The city of Göttingen is offering another vaccination campaign at the Sparkassen-Arena before the home game against the Skyliners on Saturday. From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., people aged 12 and over can be vaccinated by the mobile team at the Siekhöhe Vaccination Center without prior notification, as long as the vaccine lasts. The vaccination team is available for anyone interested in the gym on the east side of the arena.

Vaccines are available for first, second and booster vaccinations. The campaign is open to everyone and is not only aimed at spectators who come to the BG home game. The BG Göttingen expressly supports this campaign and hopes that it will be noticed by many people.
