ATP – Cup> Zverev: “I think I am the one who trains the most among all the players present here”

Two wins in two games. Alexander Zverev’s start to the season is going wonderfully so far, especially as Germany won their ATP Cup meeting against the United States, which places them still in a position to qualify against Canada in two days.

Asked about his physical form after his victory against Taylor Fritz (6–4, 6–4), the German admitted that he was not yet at the top even if he trains like a frenzied to achieve it.

“It’s only the second game of the season, I’m still looking for my best form. I try to adapt every day, but I’m happy with the way things are going. I played two very high level games, I lost to Taylor at Indian Wells a few months ago, so it was nice to see each other on the court. I know I still have things to improve, that’s why I train every day, I think I’m the one who trains the most among all the players here. I’m just happy with my two wins, I’d rather have two wins than two losses, that’s for sure. “
