Continuing from last week, “Overseas Travel” will deliver the latest information from South Korea by a local coordinator!

“Guest’s Journey” is a gourmet trip by Judo gold medalist Wolf Aaron in Toyama prefecture, which is rich in seafood.

Beginning with conveyor belt sushi, you can enjoy fresh fish dishes such as crab-zukuri supper that you eat at the inn, and a dish that you cook yourself by handling the fish.

Soak in hot water at a hot spring inn and interact with local children who are practicing judo, so you can enjoy a self-paced solo trip.

This time, we will visit a hot restaurant in Seoul, a city where delicious foods from all over Korea are gathered, and introduce popular menus. What was projected on the camera was the specialty dish “Chokartim”. Enjoy hot pot dishes where you can enjoy fresh seafood and meat. Visit another house and get a closer look at the deliciousness of the popular “Rosé Toppogi”. (The photo is Yuri Sasaki)

In “Guest’s Journey,” the judoka Wolf Aaron, who won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, will appear as a guest and travel to Toyama Prefecture. Toyama is a fierce battleground for conveyor belt sushi, as you can eat sushi made from Toyama Bay fish caught in the morning at a reasonable price. First, I prepared my stomach for the trip, and then headed to Unazuki Onsen, which has been around since the Taisho era. Walk through the old-fashioned hot spring town, and at a cheesecake specialty store, you can enjoy a special cheesecake that pursues the best melting time of only 10 minutes, and the dessert after meals is perfect!

Next, I headed to the dojo of the judo club where children are practicing judo. Children from elementary school to junior high school are delighted to see how they are sweating and practicing. After having a good time, have a crab kaiseki meal at the inn.

In fact, Wolf has a hobby of handling fish. So, the next day, I decided to visit the market near the Shinminato fishing port and try to judge the fish I bought. Take on the challenge of making sashimi by renting the kitchen of a sushi restaurant attached to the market. Wolf, who wants to eat not only fish dishes but also meat, visits a restaurant where you can eat rare brand beef, Himi beef.

The live broadcast report is a report of “eel” from Osaki Town, Kagoshima Prefecture.

In “Travel in Japan, where Torusuke goes,” Higashi Anna will search for local gourmet food, including mackerel, in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture.
